Intelligrated receives Patent on State of the Art Sorter

Intelligrated was recently issued a patent protecting the exclusivity of some of the features of their industry leading ultra high speed sliding shoe sorter (IntelliSort®).
The design features protected by this most recent patent issuance is only one of the key features that has enabled Intelligrated to quickly become the market leader of superior sortation rates and reliable jam free case handling.

The pusher (shoe design) accommodates either 30° or 20° angle of divert. This newly designed component, working in conjunction with other unique features of the sortation system, provide extremely gentle and consistent diverting at the most acute angle of 30° thus saving floor space that would otherwise be required for a 20° divert path what was previously required for ultra high speed applications. The sorter configuration is offered in both single side as well as dual side diverting.
The design of the contacting surfaces of the shoe are unique in their shape and contours specifically addressing features that in the past have limited the overall reliability and consistency of jam free sortation.
