Alert and Automate Maintenance
Sorter diagnostics and status displays offer maintenance and operations staff intuitive and effective tools to keep the sorter running at peak efficiency for many years.
Calibrating the sorter helps to ensure that product will sort on time and to the correct destination. Automatic Sorter Calibration (Divert positions, Entry Eye, and Exit Eye) will ensure that product diverts smoothly and accurately every time. It only takes a few minutes, at recommended intervals, to keep the system tuned for optimum performance. A suite of performance tests is supplied to help with troubleshooting and verification that the system is tuned.
Oiler calibration automatically determines chain length and compares it with historical information. If chain is removed or replaced, the system can automatically detect the amount of chain removed and requests a confirmation. This, along with other performance information, is captured into the InControlWare® database.
Detect and Diagnose
A vast array of diagnostics and tools are provided for the care of your IntelliSort® Sliding Shoe Sorter. The chain stretch monitor precisely measures the amount of chain sag and can automatically realign unevenly stretched chain upon command.
Problems with oil application can be accurately detected and addressed by alerting maintenance personnel to the issue before any damage is done to the sorter. Predictive tools keep operations aware of the future action required for maintenance of the chain and oiling system. Oil consumption rates, chain stretch rates, and forecasted service times are all presented by the InControlWare® User Interface.
I-Watch™ tracks sorter usage, chain stretch, oil consumption, and events over the life of the system. Management and maintenance gain excellent visibility into the performance of the chain.
Performance and Event History
InControlWare® and I-Watch™ routinely capture usage information on drives and switches. The system also records events like chain or slat replacement, sorter calibration, oiler calibration, oiler level warnings and alarms, drive problems, and more. This data is captured in a SQL database and enables extensive data mining for analysis and troubleshooting.
