Participants are introduced to OSHA policies, procedures, and standards as well as general industry safety and health principles covered in OSHA 1910. The course also emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention. The course may also be tailored to the location or participant needs. |

OSHA authorized General Industry Outreach Program Trainer with a background in safety and health awareness. |
| Course Certification |
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA general industry safety and health 10-hour course completion card. |
| Prerequisites/Audience |
Anyone, particularly those with safety and health responsibilities. Also, those planning to attend the OSHA Course 501 to become an authorized outreach trainer. |
