| Description |
Participants are introduced to electrical theory and concepts, including the study of matter and how it relates to electron flow, and how voltage, ohms, and amperes interrelate in electrical circuits. Emphasis is placed on the application and troubleshooting of electrical devices in a material handling system. The course also emphasizes safety practices and use of basic test equipment. The course also may be tailored to the location or participant needs. |

| Prerequisites/Audience |
Maintenance personnel with mechanical and/or fluid power experience who are looking for cross-training in the electrical field. Also provides refresher training for technicians who have been away from the field for some time. |
